Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Get Tools Lab may collect, use, store and disclose information when you use the website, create an account, run a tool, contact support, subscribe to a plan, or interact with analytics, advertising and third-party integrations. The exact data flow can differ by tool, so individual tool pages may provide additional processing information.
Browser-local and server-assisted processing
Some Get Tools Lab tools can process data entirely in your browser. In those cases, the selected content may remain on your device. Other tools—such as workflows that depend on server software, background workers, OCR, media processing, office conversion, cloud storage or external AI providers—may require data to be sent to a server or provider for processing. Get Tools Lab should not claim that files never leave your browser when a particular tool requires server-side processing.
Information we may collect
We may collect account information you submit, contact-form messages, subscription and transaction metadata, tool and page usage events, search queries, diagnostic errors, device and browser information, security events, and standard web-server logs. Payment processors may provide transaction identifiers, subscription status, plan information and limited billing details. Get Tools Lab does not need to store raw card numbers or CVV codes when hosted or tokenized payment processing is used.
Uploaded and temporary files
When a tool requires server-side processing, files should be stored using non-public, access-controlled paths and unguessable names. Temporary processing files are intended to be removed according to the configured retention and cleanup jobs. Failed jobs should also be eligible for cleanup. Backups and diagnostic systems should be configured so temporary user uploads are not retained indefinitely unless a user intentionally stores an asset in a media or cloud library.
Analytics, pixels and advertising
Get Tools Lab can be configured with analytics services, advertising networks and marketing pixels. These services may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies and may receive information such as page visits, device information, referral data and conversion events. Where consent controls apply, optional analytics and marketing scripts should load according to your choices.
AI and external providers
AI-assisted tools may send prompts, text, images or documents to the configured AI provider when that feature is enabled. The provider may process this information under its own terms and privacy policy. Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive information unless they understand and accept the applicable provider and processing terms.
Accounts, teams and shared content
If you create an account, Get Tools Lab may store profile information, preferences, favorites, history, organization or team membership, and other account settings. Content intentionally shared with a team or organization may be available to authorized members according to the applicable workspace permissions.
Security
Get Tools Lab uses measures such as HTTPS, access controls, secure session settings, rate limiting, audit logging and protected data directories where configured. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should keep independent backups of important files and protect their account credentials.
Retention and deletion
Different categories of information may have different retention periods. Account records may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when required for security, legal, billing or fraud-prevention purposes. Temporary conversion files should follow shorter cleanup schedules. Users may contact us regarding account deletion or data-access requests, subject to verification and applicable legal obligations.
Third-party links and services
The website may link to or integrate with payment processors, cloud-storage providers, email providers, analytics tools, advertising platforms and other third parties. Their processing is governed by their own policies, and Get Tools Lab does not control every independent third-party service.
Your choices
You can adjust available cookie or tracking preferences, avoid optional account features, choose browser-local tools where offered, and contact us about supported privacy requests. Browser settings may also allow you to block or clear cookies and local storage.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when tools, providers, retention practices or legal requirements change. Material changes should be reflected by a new last-updated date.
