Trust Center

Trust is especially important for a website that handles files, accounts and paid services. This page summarizes how Get Tools Lab approaches privacy, security, tool quality, payments, advertising and service reliability. Individual tools and policies may provide additional details.

File processing

Get Tools Lab includes both browser-local and server-assisted workflows. When a tool can perform the task locally, processing may remain in your browser. Other features can require temporary server processing, background workers, cloud services, OCR software, media processors or external AI providers. We aim to describe the processing model accurately rather than making a blanket claim that every file always remains on the device.

Temporary file handling

Server-assisted tools should use isolated, non-public storage and unpredictable filenames. Temporary processing data is intended to be removed according to configured retention and cleanup jobs, including failed jobs where possible. Users should keep their own copy of important files and should not treat a temporary conversion service as permanent storage.

Account and administrator security

The platform includes controls for secure sessions, administrator permissions, audit logging, two-factor authentication, rate limiting and security headers. These controls still require correct production configuration. Site owners should keep PHP, dependencies and server software updated and should review security alerts rather than relying only on application defaults.

Payments

Paid subscriptions can be connected to third-party payment processors. Secure hosted or tokenized payment flows allow the payment provider to handle card information so Get Tools Lab does not need to store raw card numbers or CVV codes. Subscription activation should be verified through signed server-to-server webhooks rather than relying only on a browser redirect.

Advertising and affiliate relationships

Advertising, sponsorships or affiliate links may support the service. Where affiliate links are used, Get Tools Lab may receive a commission without increasing the advertised price. Sponsored or commercial relationships should be disclosed and should not be presented as independent editorial evidence.

AI providers

AI-assisted features can use a configured external provider or local processing. When an external provider is used, submitted prompts or files may be sent to that provider. Users should review the applicable privacy information and avoid sending sensitive information unless they are comfortable with the selected processing route.

Tool quality

How We Test Our Tools documents the current verification layers. Corrections Policy explains how reported errors are handled.

Tools can be assigned lifecycle states such as production ready, beta, coming soon or hidden. This gives the site owner a way to keep experimental functionality visible for testing without presenting every feature as fully verified. Tool faults and browser errors can also be surfaced through the administrative diagnostics area.

Reliability and incidents

The System Status page reports the current state of monitored services and active incidents. Background monitoring, queue checks and cron workers must be configured correctly on the production server for status information to stay current.

Responsible disclosure and support

If you identify a security or privacy issue, contact Get Tools Lab with enough information to reproduce the problem without publicly exposing sensitive data. Do not include passwords, secret keys, full payment-card numbers or confidential files in an ordinary support message.
