Terms of Use

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to Get Tools Lab, including public tools, accounts, paid subscriptions, APIs, team features and related services. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

Using the tools

Get Tools Lab provides software utilities intended to help with common file, document, media, text and developer tasks. Results can vary by file structure, browser support, server dependencies and third-party services. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it and for keeping independent copies of important source files.

Acceptable use

You may not use Get Tools Lab to violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, overload processing infrastructure, abuse rate limits, probe private systems without permission, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's files or account.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password, recovery codes, API credentials and other authentication information. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or restrict access when necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, enforce plan limits or maintain service security.

Paid plans and billing

Paid features may be offered as recurring subscriptions or other plans. Prices, billing periods, included features and applicable taxes should be displayed before checkout. Payments are processed by the configured third-party payment provider. Renewal, cancellation, refund and failed-payment handling may depend on the payment processor and the plan terms shown at checkout.

Cancellation and refunds

Where self-service cancellation is available, cancellation normally stops future renewals rather than automatically reversing past charges. Refund eligibility can depend on the circumstances, applicable law and the published refund policy or checkout terms. Contact support promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect.

File processing and storage

Some tools work locally in the browser, while others require temporary server-side or third-party processing. You must have the right to process any file or content you submit. Temporary files may be deleted automatically according to retention settings, and you should not use Get Tools Lab as the sole permanent storage location for important information.

APIs and automated access

API access may be subject to authentication, quotas, rate limits and plan restrictions. You may not evade rate limits, share restricted credentials publicly or use automated access in a way that harms service availability. API functionality may change as the platform evolves.

Intellectual property

You retain rights you already hold in content you submit. Get Tools Lab retains rights in the website software, branding, documentation and original editorial content, subject to applicable third-party licenses. You may not copy or resell protected elements of the service except where a license or written permission allows it.

Third-party services

Some features depend on external libraries, AI providers, cloud services, payment processors or other third parties. Their availability and terms are outside Get Tools Lab's direct control. A third-party outage may temporarily affect a related feature.

No guarantee of uninterrupted service

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We work to maintain reliability, but we do not promise that every tool will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every legal, professional or technical purpose.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Get Tools Lab is not responsible for losses caused by relying on unverified output, failing to keep backups, submitting unsupported files, misuse of the service, or failures of third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

Changes and termination

Features, limits and these terms may change as the service develops. We may discontinue or restrict a feature when necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance or product changes. Material changes to these terms should receive an updated date.
